Menora Youth celebrated the long-awaited Charity Night 2023

Last Tuesday, December 12, the sixth night of Hanukkah, Olami Palermo experienced a unique moment when celebrating Charity Night, the event that brings together hundreds of young people in an emotional closing of the year.

This year’s edition, which took place at Salguero Plaza, brought together more than 400 young participants of Olami Palermo’s varied proposals.

The festive atmosphere was filled with surprises, raffles, vibrant music, an exquisite dinner and a lot of energy. Attendees were also treated to inspiring messages that reaffirmed their commitment to personal development and solidarity. On this occasion, the work of outstanding volunteers throughout the year was recognized.

One of the highlights of the night was the presence of Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca, president of Menora, who participated in the lighting of the Chanukiah and shared a motivational message with the young people there. He urged each of them to continue growing and reach their full potential. He congratulated them for their active participation in various solidarity campaigns, trainings, courses and festivities.

«These are the young people we accompany every day. They build a beautiful reality and make our society better for everyone,” highlighted the Chief Rabbi.

Under the direction of Ari Berim, Olami Palermo ―one of Menora youth programs― organized this event in which a summary of everything carried out during the year could be seen. The shared wish is that in 2024 the Israel Explorer trip will return. This year it was suspended due to the current situation in Israel.

The participants confirmed their commitment to Israel and peace, and said goodbye to the young people from the Olami Palermo delegation who will participate in the Olami Latam Mission trip to Israel to collaborate with the situation that has been experienced there since October 7.

Charity Night 2023, with its supportive and motivating spirit, left an indelible mark in the memory of all those present, consolidating Menora’s mission of guiding young people towards a future full of success and service to others.
