Menora, the World Jewish Organization, is the only one in Latin America that has a comprehensive university training program for rabbis and teachers of the Jewish area: the «Postgraduate Academic Training and Leadership for Rabbis», a career created and coordinated by Menora and Palermo University.

This year the first group of rabbis and teachers of communities in Argentina and Latin America graduated. They received a double degree of completion and approval of the Academic Training and Community Leadership Program of Palermo University and Menora.

Menora UP’s Academic Training and Community Leadership program integrates the newest tools as regards executive training.

The participants acquired tools for Negotiation, Leadership, Psychology, Business Strategies, Marketing, Contemporary Thought and Social Trends, Public Speaking, Philosophy, Jewish Education, Ceremonial and Protocol, Writing and Written Expression as well as advanced tools for the informatics area.

The diploma ceremony took place in the Great Temple of the Sephardic Community of Buenos Aires on Camargo Street.

Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca, founder and president of Menora; Rabbi Gabriel Sacca, director of Menora; and Gabriel Foglia, dean of the UP Business School were in charge of the graduation.

It was a very emotional ceremony and a step forward in the joint work that Menora carries out with Palermo University to offer the possibility of a quality academic study adapted to the needs of the observing public of the Jewish tradition.
