On Tuesday, March 30th, the group JJPP (Young Jews for Peace) received the visit of the Egyptian ambassador, Amin Maleika, in Argentina.

The JJPP meetings are spaces for dialogue, debate and learning, in which young people exchange ideas, meet prominent personalities, with the aim of promoting dialogue and peace among nations.

Ambassador Meleika spoke on politics and history and on Egyptian society. He also responded to the concerns of the young people. The role of the ambassador, the importance of history and the peace agreements were the most interesting topics.

The ambassador explained how the lack of knowledge of others generates hatred. Therefore, he highlighted the importance of overcoming prejudices, and knowing the other.
