“Menora gives a hand” in Villa Lugano

The program “Menora gives a hand” aims to provide help to organizations which look after people in state of emergency in Argentina, to train young people in solidarity and to show everyone that it is possible to save the world from hate if we are respectful and supportive with each other, helping the other for being human, no matter the ideas he has.

In the last visit of Rabbi Isaac Sacca to Pope Francis they had a conversation about this program and Rabbi Sacca told him about the idea of helping the neighbor house of  Villa Lugano directed by father Sebastian Rossi in which they provide food, bath and a place to rest to people in street situation, they offer primary and secondary education to people of low resources, they help to rehabilitate people with drug problems and they make several programs with youngsters of the slum who come from dysfunctional families.

On Thursday August 10th a group of young volunteers of Menora together with Rabbi Isaac Sacca were received  in the neighbor house by father Sebastian Rossi  and they had a meeting in which they ended their job.
