On Monday, November 10, at the Menora Center | Chella & Moise Safra, the central welcoming ceremony was held for the Rishon LeZion, Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel, HaGaon Rabbi David Yosef, who shared a reflection and a special blessing for the community.
The gathering, which brought together all the rabbis, leaders and institutions from across the country, was carried out in an atmosphere of deep emotion and respect. During the ceremony a prayer was offered for the peace and welfare of Argentina, Israel and the whole world — a symbol of Menora’s commitment to the values of unity, faith and continuity.
Within the framework of the same event, Menora presented diplomas to the new rabbis graduated from the Edmond J. Safra Rabbinical Training Institute, together with the Rishon LeZion and the heads of the batei midrash, Rabbis Uriel Said and Abraham Baruj Antebi Sacca. Distinguished educators were also honoured in recognition of their work and their commitment to the formation of the new generations.
The ceremony, headed by the President of Menora, Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca, marked a historic milestone for Jewish life in Argentina, bringing together religious and educational leaders in a day of inspiration, learning and spiritual strengthening.
The event concluded with words of blessing from Chief Rabbi Yosef, who underscored the importance of education and rabbinical leadership in the transmission of the values of the Jewish people.
