Participation in the World Law Congress

The Wolrd Law Congress, organized by WJA, made the 2019 edition in Madrid, Spain and Rabbi Isaac Sacca was invited as a panelist.

The World Jurist Association was founded in 1963 aiming to get a world governed by law and not by force. It is a nongovernmental organization with a consultive status before the United Nations present in 85 countries, it stands out as an open forum that has been celebrating relevant congresses, in which judges, lawyers, professors and Legal professionals of over 140 nationalities work and cooperate to reinforce and expand the empire of the law and its institutions.

Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca was part of the board that talked about Democracy and Religion: Education and Political and Religious Plurality.

The board was composed by the moderator David Hatchwell, President of the Hispanic Jewish Foundation, the panelists Nabil Baraka, Sufi Leader of Morocco, Bassem Eid, Activist of Human Rights, the Cardinal Carlos Osoro, Archbishop of Madrid, Elyakim Rubinstein, ex Vice-President of the Supreme Court of Israel and Marcela Syzmanski, Chief of the UE and Defense Office and editor of “Religious Freedom” in ACN International AId; and the rapporteurs Carlos de la Mata, Lawyer and General Secretary of the Madrid Live Foundation and Maria Begoña Sáinz de la Maza y Orrantia , General Secretary of the Spanish Association of women jurists and Lawyer of the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Court and the Court of the Rota of the Spanish Nunciature.

Rabbi Sacca pointed out that he was honored to be invited and he hopes that everything discussed in the congress helps to achieve a more noble and tolerant world.
