In Toledo, Spain, over 100 youngsters who are part of the groups of Menora Sepharad signed a statement, which commits them to honor their ancestors by example, to respect the legacy of the Jewish People and to progress in their way of faith.
David Hatchwell, ex president of the Jewish Community of Madrid and actual President of the Hispanic Jewish Foundation was present at the event.
The manifest that they sealed with their signature will be, for ever, a huge inspiration which will help them to do their part to achieve a future of peace and harmony.
Menora Sepharad is a program of trips to Spain of the World Organization for the Youth which seeks to promote the interest of young people in their roots and to claim the religious, cultural and historical legacy of Sepharad.
