On Monday, July 14, Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca welcomed Judge Carlos Mahiques to the Menora Center | Chella & Moise Safra, accompanied by his sons, attorneys Ignacio and Juan Mahiques.
The meeting was also attended by Eyal Sela, Ambassador of Israel; Dr. Jorge Knoblovits, Secretary General of the Latin American Jewish Congress; Mr. Mauro Berenstein, President of DAIA; Mr. Gabriel Salem, First Vice President of DAIA; Mr. Gustavo Sakkal, First Deputy Secretary of DAIA; Mr. Alberto Zimerman, First Deputy Treasurer and Interfaith Secretary of the DAIA Board of Directors; Eng. Marcos Mayo, President of the Sephardic Community of Buenos Aires; Mr. Claudio Epelman, Executive Director of the Latin American Jewish Congress and Commissioner for Interreligious Dialogue of the World Jewish Congress; Mr. Elias Szszytnicki, Regional Secretary General for Latin America and the Caribbean of Religions for Peace; Mr. Claudio Presman, President of Hebraica and of the Economic and Social Council of the City of Buenos Aires; and Dr. Leandro Emsani.
The activity provided a valuable space for dialogue and exchange with leaders in the fields of justice, diplomacy, and major Jewish community institutions.
