On Wednesday February 17th, Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca spoke at a new virtual meeting of “Spiritual Magazine”. This is a space that Menora shares with the Jewish Community of Madrid , in which we study current issues that invite us to reflect on the life and behavior of human beings.
Before a virtual audience from more than 20 countries, this time the Chief Rabbi spoke about the Purim holiday and historical aspects of its origin.
The story of the Megillah reveals the facets of anti-Semitism in its origins. Sacca explained that studying the Megillah in depth allows us to fully understand the problem of anti-Semitism and any other discriminatory tendency.
Knowing and studying history prevents the recurrence of hate and discrimination events, which are always unjustified.
