In an atmosphere of unity, respect and deep emotion, a special prayer was held with 6th and 7th grade students, school leaders, teachers and members of the Bereshit School community.
Among the participants were Marcos Daniel Mayo, president of the Sephardic Community; Rabbi Yehezkel Micha; Sebastián Habif, school president; Giselle Micha, vice president of the Sephardic Community of Buenos Aires and a member of the school’s board; and Romina Aziz. Together, they joined in a collective prayer for peace in response to the distressing global situation caused by ongoing wars.
Prayers were offered for the restoration of peace in the region and for understanding among the nations of the world. The gathering was a moment of reflection, connection and solidarity.
This event reaffirms our educational community’s commitment to the values of empathy, unity and hope.
