Midrash ceremony of Don Rafael Emanuel

Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca participated in the Midrash ceremony of Don Rafael Emanuel, known as “El nene”, in the Sephardic Community Temple.

Don Rafael was a pillar of the Sephardic Community and a man very loved by all.

Relatives and close friends came to the Sephardic Community Temple to honor Don Rafael as a fundamental stone of the institution.

The emotional ceremony was directed by Chazan Enrique Halac. After lighting candles to honor the memory of Don Rafael, the Chief Rabbi addressed a few words to all those present. “Our Community would not have been the same without Don Rafael. He was careful to preserve the tradition. He was a straight and honest man, an example of nobility and humility”-asserted the Chief Rabbi.
