The Menora-UP program opened its doors in 2019. A historical event that changed for the better the structure of the Jewish community in Latin America and that brings great benefits to society, with the spirit of giving opportunities to everyone, culture and training academic of excellence.
It is about the creation of a university, designed to give answers to the essence of diversity, by giving young people the opportunity to access academic studies within an environment that respects their Jewish tradition.
According to the words of Adolfo Kibudi (2019 cohort, Administration): “The UP-Menora program is a unique opportunity for every young Yehudi (Jew) since the dates of our festivities are respected without missing classes and we can develop professionally without any kind of problem in a religious setting. Furthermore, since it is a “special” group, a particular relationship is generated with the teachers, different from that in a normal course ”.
Currently the program has 4 careers and already has 65 enrolled students: Bachelor of Business Administration, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, and in this new cycle 2021 we incorporated Psychology.
Menora UP is a great success, it is the perfect combination for young people to train professionally and develop in society while respecting their identity.
“I thank everyone who made this program possible, for having always thought of us and for taking every detail into account , for their constant support and for being there for any questions we may have” (Valentina Salem- 2020 cohort, Fashion Design).
“Choosing UP-MENORA is synonymous with academic excellence, personalized attention and a framework of belonging” (Julián Grossmann- 2019 cohort, Administration).
