Rabbi Isaac Sacca, during his stay in Rome, visited a refuge together with father Ezio Marcelli . He is the person who discovered this refuge, where Jews were hidden and saved from Nazism by part of the members of San Gioacchino Church. It was declared a House of Life by the Raoul Wallenberg Foundation.
