Conference on abortion in “We Talk”

Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca was invited to Olami’s cycle “We Talk”.

The meeting took place virtually on Sunday, January 24th. Young women from different Latin American countries participated.

The topic of debate in question was abortion. As a medical counterpart, Dr. Laura Kanzepolsky, gynecologist and obstetrician, expert in fertility issues participated.

The Chief Rabbi pointed out that with issues such as abortion, which generate polarized positions, there is a risk of losing the ability to discern. When debates are about topics that generate passion, what usually happens is that the parts are not heard. Therefore, the important thing is to study, know the topics in depth, consult with experts and maintain a careful analysis. Always holding ethics and morals, and understanding that not all cases are the same.

Finally, the importance of prevention was highlighted. People must be responsible for their actions and think before acting.
