Last Thursday, January 19, Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca officiated the ceremony in memory of Mr. Moise Khafif Z’’L.
Mr. Moise Khafif Z”L was a giant of philanthropy, full of wisdom and chivalry. One of the most important businessmen in Argentina, visionary and hard worker. His generosity knew no limits, always present in every good work. He was also one of the most outstanding and virtuous members of the Jewish community in Buenos Aires.
“God gives us birth and then receives us back into His womb”, “What have we done with the life that He gives us? That depends on us. Moise was a man who fought to give substance to his life.
Sacca especially addressed Khafif family: his wife Gloria, his children Ivette, Isaac, Edgar, Elena, his brother Jacky, and all his grandchildren:
«The whole community is with you, we are all his relatives. Moise was the father of all, a patriarch, a giant, a light. The gratification that God has of receiving his soul in heaven is immense. Moise will be gratified by his children and grandchildren, for many generations, and that is the best hierarchy that the soul can have before God: that his children and grandchildren follow his example”
