During his stay in Israel, Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca went to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. There, he visited the grave of Mrs. Luisa Sutton Z”L and officiated at her anniversary ceremony.
The Mount of Olives is located in the Kidron Valley, east of Jerusalem. Great personalities of Jewish history are buried there, in the largest Jewish cemetery in the world.
Mrs. Luisa Sutton Z”L (1920-2020), wife of Mr. Shaul Sutton, buried next to her, was an example and role model of a woman. She was noted for her selfless help to others. In her century of life, she helped many needy families, brides, and educational and social institutions.
The Chief Rabbi highlighted that until the last day of her life, always with a smile on her face and with encouragement to continue working for the good of others, she gave herself, body and soul, to those who needed it most. He also expressed that we should follow her example and always look for ways to help others.
