Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca participated in the Hachnasat Sefer Torah for the Sephardic Community of Buenos Aires, where the incorporation of a new Torah scroll for the Temple of Camargo was celebrated.
The Hachnasat Sefer Torah ceremony represents the dedication and commitment to pass on traditions and values to future generations. The addition of a new Torah scroll is a symbol of the preservation of cultural heritage and a constant reminder of our faith rooted in the Torah.
The credit for this event goes to the tireless effort and perseverance of all the members of the Community who dedicated themselves to it. Their deep love for the Torah and their unwavering commitment to our faith have been reflected in this remarkable celebration.
“A new Sefer Torah represents the continuity of the tradition. Not only do we receive a Sefer Torah, but we must pass it on to the new generations”- highlighted the Chief Rabbi.
