On Tuesday July 11th at the Embassy of France there was a Commemoration act for the victims of AMIA. It was organized by the Ambassador Pierre Henri Guignard together with DAIA.
Chief Rabbi Isaac Sacca attended this tribute made in memory of the 85 victims in which a joint declaration of commitment against terrorism was signed.
«23 years after the attempt against the headquarters of AMIA-DAIA, the ones who are here present today condemn terrorism in all ways and manifestations and we affirm that these outrageous acts can’t and mustn’t be associated with any religion, nationality or ethnical group. We express our respect and support to the relatives of the victims so that they can go on coping with these irreparable looses. We recognize the important work they do to keep the memory and the claim of Justice alive», the signed paper states.
Diplomats, politicians and community leaders were present in the event. Among them the Secretary of Human Rights Claudio Avruj and the President of DAIA Ariel Cohen Sabban.
